Obesity increases the risk of brain decline

A recent study conducted by Korean scientists suggests that being overweight can increase the risk of brain decline and result in a poor cognitive performance.

Researchers studied the relationship between being overweight and cognitive performance in 250 people between 60 and 70 years old.

Results showed that a high body mass index (BMI) was linked to brain decline and poor cognitive performance in the participants.
