Spanish spring protests: ‘Enough is enough’

Thousands of students gathered in the eastern Spanish town of Valencia this week to protest against education cuts and corrupt politicians. Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy has already raised taxes and cut spending to reduce the deficit by about 15 billion euros and introduced an education budget cut earlier this month that – according to protestors – have left student classrooms without heating.
