Human Rights and the Global Economy – Keynote: Olivier De Schutter

This conference is the 25th in the Social Research conference series and celebrates the tenth anniversary of the New School graduate program in International Affairs. Experts and scholars explored human rights as a mediating language for discussions of social justice and the role human rights can and does play in an evolving global economy.

Olivier De Schutter, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food; Visiting Professor, Columbia University (2011-2012), gave the Keynote Address.
