A major bio-tech and GMO based company was found to have used government officials, and US diplomats to further their push for business growth in areas around the world that were regulated against genetically modified foods and seeds in a new set of leaked documents on January 11th. Monsanto, which is considered one of the most obtrusive corporations when it comes to litigation and consolidation of agriculture industries, used US diplomats to lobby representatives of the Pope and the Vatican to push the Catholic church towards accepting GMO products over natural foods and seeds.
